This three-hour class is perfect for beginners who want to learn how to create their own beautiful fine silver jewellery. No previous experience in jewellery making or silver clay is needed.

You’ll be introduced to the basics of working with silver clay and will make two small finished pieces, or one larger one, using a range of simple techniques. During the session, you’ll learn how to:

• Handle, texture, cut, and shape the clay

• Store and rehydrate your clay

• Refine your designs and prepare them for firing

• Fire your pieces safely

• Polish and finish your fine silver jewellery

The workshop runs from 10:00am–1:00pm or 2:00pm–5:00pm.

All materials are included to make two pieces, depending on size, includng silver clay and a jump ring. Additional materials such as extra clay, ear wires, jump rings, or chains will be available to purchase on the day if needed. You’re also very welcome to bring your own findings to finish off your creations.
